Although Prague attracts millions of visitors every year, there are many amazing sights that remain relatively undiscovered, each with an amazing story to tell. Let’s skip the crowded streets and seek out the city’s hidden gems!
The tour begins at the Old Town Square with a brief introduction to the history of Prague over the last millennium. We’ll then explore several back alleys around the square, walking through Týn Court to take a quick peek at two gorgeous churches that were very important for Luxembourg’s royal family.
It's then time for us to make our way to what was once the biggest square in the world – Charles Square. This local landmark also has many stories to tell, having been the site of the first defenestration and a casualty of American bombing in 1945.
After crossing the square, we’ll stop to admire the Emmaus Monastery – one of the few buildings in Prague with an original Gothic structure.
Our final stop will be the Vyšehrad medieval fortress, where the history of Bohemian kings began. The tour ends with amazing panoramic views of Prague city centre and the Vltava River.
