About Rehovoth

Rehovoth, Israel. Located approximately 20 KM South of Tel-Aviv, 10 KM East of the Mediterranean Sea, and 55 KM West of Jerusalem. It was founded on 1890, as a Free Agricultural Settlement and during the 20th Century, has been famous for its vast Citrus-Plants (being the Center of Citrus Agriculture and the Origin of the World Famous "Jaffa" Oranges), as well as the seat of Weizmann Institute for Sciences and the Hebrew University's Faculty of Agriculture. Today it has approximately 120,000 residents.
