Craft beer is becoming more and more popular in Latvia and in 2018 nine pubs and small craft beer breweries decided to join forces and work together under one concept - Riga Beer District. They say they have the most craft beer varieties per square kilometre in Northern Europe!

Why you should visit it
Riga Beer District is located walking distance from Riga's Old town, part of it - in the so called Miera Street Republic. The district includes: Valmiermuiža Brewery's branch in Riga (authors of idea), Labietis Brewery, Ziemelu Enkurs Brewery (opened in 2018) and Alkimikis Brewery, bars Taka, Walters & Grapa, Zobens un Lemess, Vest and Autentika.
