Why locals love it
Pista Cláudio Coutinho is a 1.25 km walking trail frequented by runners, climbers and people interested in see the amazing view of Praia Vermelha (Red Beach). It is a very beautiful place, with woods and animals like monkeys and lizards. There is also a hiking trail that leads to the first hump of the Sugarloaf cable car, the Morro da Urca.
Why you should visit it
You should go to Pista Cláudio Coutinho to see the great landscape, to take some beautiful pictures, get in touch with nature and, of course, hike to Morro da Urca. The Pista is located in the neighborhood of Urca, really close to Copacabana, and is very safe place as it inside a military area.
Special tip
Watch out for the monkeys if you take food, they can steal it!
