The tastes here, and this has to be said, tend to point to a middle eastern tradition but are pretty recognizable for locals. Going for its 40th year of good smelly and tasty existence, hidden in the back of a gallery that’s 100 meters away from Largo do Machado subway station, Rotisseria Sirio Libanesa serves the best esfihas in town.
Good prices, nices tastes, fresh and honest food. The esfihas are usually ordered individually – meat, vegetables, chicken and cheese are the flavours – but are normally offered in pairs. No one knows why this happens but if you manage to avoid the tremendous temptation that’s eating just one, you won’t be charged for the second esfirra.
There are two restaurants inside the gallery. They are pretty much the same thing. But i think the one on the right side is better.
