Are you a party goer? If so, keep in mind that this exclusive tour only happens from January till the Rio Carnival! I'll take you on a very exclusive experience through the "blocos" – it's Rio's party DNA at its best.
The Rio Carnival can be divided in two groups: the samba schools which parade on the Sambadrome and the BLOCOS DE CARNAVAL. The first one its famous worldwide, but also it's NOT the focus on this experience.
Our experience focus on the BLOCOS DE CARNAVAL
which are block parties that take place throughout the city during carnival and pre-carnival time. Many neighbourhoods in Rio have their own carnival street band (or bands) to take part in huge processions. I'll take you to the front seats of this amazing event and you'll probably meet a lot of friends of mine along the way.
The locals go crazy with handmade costumes and dancing on the street. Feel free to put on costumes or bathing suits, there's no wrong dress code for the Carnival.
I'll meet you at the nearest metro station to your hotel/hostel/Airbnb. From there we will take the subway or Uber and head to the block party.
It's the seriously the best party will you ever attend!
