It is a very peaceful spot; not everyone have time to visit this site because it is not centrally placed, but it's a gem in Rome. The Abbey complex is currently held by the Trappist Fathers of the Cistercian Order. In May 2015, Tre Fontane became the 11th Trappist monastery to produce and sell trappist beer.
Why you should visit it
Nice place surrounded by nature and small walking path. It is an interesting place to visit for those who like churches and history, and willing to find a quiet oasis, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Rome.

Getting here: Metro B stop Laurentina + bus 671 for 3 stops. Don't forget to visit the shop and buy their chocolate, liquors, jams and beer.
