This bar is a local icon. It’s a good place to meet up with friends to drink possibly the cheapest Peroni in Rome. It’s by no means a chic lounge bar – it’s just a typical old bar with an authentic 70s atmosphere.

Why you should visit it
This is a place you should definitely visit if you want to check out the Roman way of life. It’s one of the only bars in the city where design is not important – what counts more are the warm and friendly people you meet, the owners included. At night the crowd spills out onto the square which becomes something of a bar itself.
Special tip
Try the "sgroppino" – a traditional Italian cocktail made with vodka and lemon ice cream.
