Why locals love it

Giardino degli Aranci (“Orange Garden”) is a little slice of Eden. It’s a romantic and relaxing spot perfect for lovers as well as for those who simply want to spend some time alone. From the small terrace surrounded by orange trees you can look down over the city and regain a bit of peace.

Why you should visit it

This small rectangular garden is very popular as it affords breathtaking views that stretch from the winding Tiber river all the way to St. Peter’s Basilica. Located at the top of Aventine Hill, it’s definitely one of the spots to visit in this peaceful and dreamy area.

Special tip

In spring the smell of the orange trees is irresistible.

I really love this "Giardino degli Aranci" surely one of my favourite in Rome. Located really close to Circo Massino , from the terrace you can take a look of Trastevere quartier with the Tiber, L'altare della Patria and of course San Peter capel. Magic place.
