Why locals love it

This market caters to those living or working in the popular central neighbourhood of Testaccio. As it was recently renovated, it’s particularly pleasant and clean. It’s a great place to buy fresh food and to enjoy a cheap and delicious snack.

Why you should visit it

It’s a great place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, seafood, deli products, top quality meat and all manner of other market produce. You'll also find several creative and unconventional stalls selling kitchen accessories and design objects. Come here and shop like a local!

Special tip

You must try Sergio's sandwiches (the stall is called Mordi e Vai). For around €3 you get a big panino filled with top quality meat of your choice.

Amazing find. So many great food options!(Personally the Polperto sandwich, a cannoli and an olive “finger” were my favorites!) + a glass of wine of course!
