Ciao, I'm Fiorella!!! I come from south Italy(Puglia) but I lived in Rome for 18 years...only!!! I start cooking when I was 9 yeas old, at home with my grandma and my mother. My greatest passion is cooking!!! I like to teach some interesting culinary tricks to my guests and show them how Italy is a land blessed by nature: an incredible richness of flavours. I like to mix together tradition and innovation. I cook traditional recipes and I create new recipes starting always with fresh and top quality ingredients. When I cook I want always find the balance of the flavours, naturally. Every ingredient has a personality, has to be respected and never covered: it means that i prefer to extract the natural flavours and reduce fats and salt. The direction to Tasty-land and Healthy- land is my mission. I think that there is something unexplained magic in cooking and I'm glad to reveal some secret

Description

You're bound to eat a lot of pasta while you're in Rome and this is your chance to learn how to make two popular dishes from scratch with the help of a local!

I will teach you how to make Tagliolini with a delicious tomato sauce using traditional techniques. I'll also show you how to make stuffed pasta (Ravioli or Cappelletti) with Cacio e Pepe sauce (pecorino cheese and peppers) or Gricia sauce (guanciale "like bacon" and pecorino cheese).

While we have fun making pasta you'll be able to enjoy an aperitivo with:

- Selected cheeses with different kind of homemade jams
- Special bruschetta with homemade Bronte's pistachio pesto (Bronte is a tiny village in Sicily which grows one of the best kinds of pistachios in the world because of Sicilian volcanic soil)
- Frisa (special crunchy bread from Puglia) with extra virgin olive oil (my own blend from Puglia in the south of Italy!)

To round off lunch or dinner you'll be treated to a very delicious sweet surprise and a glass of selected Italian wine.

VEGETARIANS or VEGANS are welcome!
