You're bound to eat a lot of pasta while you're in Rome and this is your chance to learn how to make two popular dishes from scratch with the help of a local!
I will teach you how to make Tagliolini with a delicious tomato sauce using traditional techniques. I'll also show you how to make stuffed pasta (Ravioli or Cappelletti) with Cacio e Pepe sauce (pecorino cheese and peppers) or Gricia sauce (guanciale "like bacon" and pecorino cheese).
While we have fun making pasta you'll be able to enjoy an aperitivo with:
- Selected cheeses with different kind of homemade jams
- Special bruschetta with homemade Bronte's pistachio pesto (Bronte is a tiny village in Sicily which grows one of the best kinds of pistachios in the world because of Sicilian volcanic soil)
- Frisa (special crunchy bread from Puglia) with extra virgin olive oil (my own blend from Puglia in the south of Italy!)
To round off lunch or dinner you'll be treated to a very delicious sweet surprise and a glass of selected Italian wine.
VEGETARIANS or VEGANS are welcome!
