During this tour, we will hike to the Henderson Waves, a pedestrian bridge that spans across a deep valley 36 metres below. The wave-like design of the Henderson Waves makes for an unusual sight and a famous photo spot. We will continue to Faber Point, the highest point in Mount Faber Park. From the lookout points here, we will have a panoramic view of the city, the southern part of Singapore and the southern islands. If the weather is good, we will be able to see Marina Bay Sands from afar! I will also share about the life of average Singaporean, the development of Singapore’s housing and maritime industry.
This hike passes through a secondary forest with a rich variety of flora and fauna. As we walk along the tree canopy, try to spot the oriental whip snake lazing among the branches, the cicada calling or the straw-headed bulbul singing. This is definitely a nature lover's paradise!
