We pre booked Ulko Tours for a trip to Peterhof, Grand Palace and Park.
Everything went very smoothly (unlike a tour we booked with another company). We were picked up promptly at our hotel and transported to Peterhof in a very comfortable Toyota.
Our tour guide was Senia and she did a superb job. She was very friendly, relaxed and informative. She was very knowledgeable on the palace and park and gave us lots of interesting detail
Beyond this Senia answered our many other questions about Russia - history,
transport, sport, culture etc
Her English was very good
All in all we had a great day out. Our driver, Yuri, also did a great job

Description
After meeting your guide and driver in the lobby of your hotel at 09:00, you’ll travel by private vehicle to the Peterhof imperial residence located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland.
The beauty of Peterhof rivals that of Versailles. In fact, the Grand Palace was designed to be the centrepiece of Peter the Great's "Russian Versailles".
Inside, the palace is considerably more lavish, and the fact that the interiors had to be almost entirely reconstructed after World War II does nothing to distract from their grandeur.
Following the palace tour you’ll proceed to the amazing Lower Gardens, which feature numerous fountains. If you’re lucky, you’ll witness the ceremonial switching on of the fountains. You’re welcome to enjoy a quick lunch at one of the park cafés, or continue exploring with your guide.
At 12:15 you’ll begin your journey back to St Petersburg, arriving at your hotel at approximately 13:00.
Please note that the fountains don’t run during the winter season (until late April).
