We had a fantastic tour of Gamla Stan and many interesting facts were shared. Our tour guide was very personable, energetic, and knew the answers to everyone's questions. He also did a great job shooing away those not on our tour but who were trying to get in on some free tidbits! We loved the ferry over to the Vasa and learning more about the ship and its misfortunes. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Stockholm!

Description

Are you wondering what the Must Sees of Stockholm are? We can show you! Throw all your previous plans overboard and spend the morning with us. We guarantee the must-sees in Stockholm and a wow-experience.

Starting from Stortorget, or "The Main Square" in the Old Town (Gamla stan in Swedish), you will set out on a guided walk, diving into the history of the city. After exploring the hidden gems of the Old Town, board a public ferry for a short sailing between the islands and across the harbour to the island of Djurgården, where another treasure awaits. We are of course speaking about one of the most visited museums in the country, The Vasa Museum.

What is the Vasa Museum you ask? It is home to the world's oldest, most well-preserved ship (not to mention most impressive, in our opinion!) - the grand warship “Vasa.” Thinking about the Vikings? Think again! This beauty was built in the 1600s, during a time when the Swedish Empire was THE force to be reckoned with in Northern Europe! Feel like one of the distinguished guests invited to the maiden voyage as we skip the line at the Vasa Museum. Not only is the Vasa an artistic masterpiece, but she also has a fabulous story.

Great tour guide.
Your company were excellent from the off! Even when we accidentally cancelled the trip, you made it happen and Marc was an excellent guide. To be honest my wife and I could have just chatted with Marc all day as he is a very knowledgable well travelled guide and is a credit to your company. I especially found the Devil's book story hillarious.

I will definitely recommend to all, and would promote Marc (if not already) as your lead English tour guide. Many thanks for an enjoyable tour and would definitely use your company again.

We had a great tour, Lisa, our Tour guide showed us the old Town ( Gamle Stan ) and the Vasa
In the meanwhile telling funny stories about the past (e.g. medieval punishments) and the present ( the Royals and their relatives )All related to the spots we were visitng. The tour included Vasa VIP entrance so we could beat the queue in front of the desk. Not the most important thing but losing 30minutes in a queue in the sun is not what you like to meet! The tour last 3 hours and includes the ferry to Djurgardens. Good value for money!

Great job
Our guide did a great job. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and truly excited about the city - something so important to inspire tourists about it. Would highly recommend the tour and the guide.

My favorite day of my entire Sweden/Denmark vacation was the day we took a bike tour with this company. Lisa was a fabulous guide, despite having a cold, and provided us with a great deal of information and ideas for things to do after our tour concluded. The bike tour is a great way to start your vacation in Stockholm as it provides you with a start to knowing where everything is and helps you get your bearings. It also gives you a good idea of where you want to return. In addition, the bike rental is good for two additional days after the day you take the tour! I would highly recommend his tour to anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors and is in moderately good shape. Lisa was very attentive to the different needs of everyone in our group and adjusted her speed accordingly. Perfect day!

Natalie was waiting for us in advance at the designated starting point. One and a half hour full of stories throughout the Old Town (Gamla Stan) y Riddarholm. Each corner had a secret, a small o great story behind to be told. Natalie's enthusiam, fantastic attitude and clear English got our attention during the whole tour. Natalie took care of any of us and when I thought it could not get better, suddenly, she sang us a (Christmas) song. I would rate this visit as a "must see tour" performed by an excellent person/proffesional. Thanks a lot to Stockholm Our Way and thanks a lot to Natalie as well !!!

Stockholm is a beautiful city, it turned out to be our favorite city and tour of all our Baltic cruise excursions. Natalie was our tour guide and she's amazing! My husband and I were there with five of our grown children and their spouses, fiancée, and friend. The Vasa Museum and City Hall were highlights of our excursion. Natalie is great!!! I highly recommend Stockholm Our Way.
