We had such a wonderful time. Despite being very busy that day, Nordic Experience found a way to give our family a private tour we’ll never forget. Our tour guide, Erik, was a wealth of knowledge. He told us history not only of Estonia but of the whole region while walking us around Talinn. He was kind and patient with our children and very accommodating for Grandma who has some mobility issues. After the walking tour, he took us to the Viking Village where we had an outstanding meal and then a ton of fun throwing axes, shooting bows and arrows, and flinging a trebuchet. The kids had a blast while we all actually learned lots of history. Wonderful!

Enjoy a tour to the best of the Viking Age in Estonia dating back to the 13th century with a visit to the Viking Village. You will enjoy a tour of an ancient stronghold which is protected from enemies by a catapult and take a traditional meal at the viking village tavern. This is not only an entertaining visit, but offers an educational and exciting experience inspired by the distant time of Vikings. Medieval Old Town walking tour in the heart of Tallinn continues to immerse you in the tales of fascinating stories of inhabitants of this Hanseatic pearl. During the upper old town, Toompea Hill visit, you will spot such highlights as the Prime Ministers Offices and Chancellery of Chancellor of Justice, Estonian Parliament building and the Nevsky Cathedral.
You will also admire the atmosphere of the Danish King Garden, a place where the rule of Danes in Tallinn started 800 years ago. Lower Old Town tour includes a visit to the Town Hall Square. This is an ancient medieval market place with an impressive Gothic Town Hall, charming outdoor cafés and the medieval Town Councils Pharmacy. Through the St. Catherine´s Passage you will arrive to the fairy-tale town wall.
