Why locals love it
The ski slopes of Aavas Germany are located about 10 km north of the village of Ylitornio. The slope has one lift and three slopes. The longest slope is about a kilometer long and the height difference is 115 m. You also have 60m carpet lifts which is family friendly. Also available a sledding hill to try out with a snowtub or a sleg.

Why you should visit it
The ski slope is child friendly. The slopes are perfect for skiing, even for the smaller ones in the family. Affordable rates are also suitable for families with children. Tickets and equipment can be purchased on site, at Aurinkomaja's and at the substation café. The ski resort also departs from a cross-country ski trail, 8,2 kilometers long.
