Why locals love it
Hélène Kuhn was born in France. When she was 21 during a journey made the most important encounter of her life, she met the Venetian painter Bobo Ferruzzi. She learnt from him the art to paint, and built up her style. The art of painting on fabric has got a long historic tradition in Venice.

Why you should visit it
Her works contain rhythmic explosions, action, movement, fire. Hélène’s energy is powerful, but what is surprising and moving is the grace with which the emotional material takes life on the fabric. Here silk works are brilliant.
