Why locals love it
Club U is known by locals for it's changing venues. Mostly unique things, that are often only known to a small community. So you can go there, and by chance have either a cool event with a great dj or someone who thinks he's a dj and his friends. But its worth the try.

Why you should visit it
The club is typical for Vienna. It is at the same time historical, splendorous, shabby and dirty. The location was the former entrance to the Underground, and built in the style of Art nouveau (Jugendstil). It is an architectural sight. The interior looks more like a cheap brothel out of the last century, but that makes quite a lot of its charm.
