The imposing Gediminas Tower is a long-standing symbol of Vilnius and one of the city’s most prominent landmarks.
Why you should visit it
You'll have to do some climbing but the view is definitely worth the effort. Otherwise you can take the elevator for a couple of Litas. There's a small museum at the top of the tower with exhibits related to local history. If you purchase the museum ticket (LTL 5), you'll have access to the observation deck for an even better view of the city!
Special tip
Make sure you’re out by 8 pm as they close the gate at nights.
