Why locals love it
This is a very important building for Lithuania. When Soviets came here with tanks to fight against independence, people from all over the country came to Vilnius to protect Parliament and the TV Tower with their bare hands.
Why you should visit it
This one is kind of hard to miss as it’s the tallest building in the city by far (and one of the tallest in Eastern Europe for that matter). And it spins! Head up for 360-degree views of Vilnius and beyond. Take trolley no. 16 from the bus station to “Televizijos bokštas”.

There's also a restaurant so don't come here with a full stomach!
