the king of milkbars
Bar Mleczny Prasowy17
Why locals love it
Milkbars have a long tradition in Poland and this one has been through a lot. It's been open since 1954 but when few years ago it was supposed to be replaced by yet another bank the local people occupied the place, protested big time and eventually saved the place! It's an inseparable part of the city!

Why you should visit it
Milkbars are where you can get the Polish food at its best - it tastes like at home and it costs next to nothing. There are few places like this around the town but "Prasowy" is simply the best! The interior is pretty funky and the dishes they serve are pretty amazing! The line might be overwhelming sometimes but it's worth to wait!
Special tip
Try their breakfast menu and the tomato soup (one bowl costs 1.50zł - less than 0.40€!)
