U Szwejka is a popular restaurant with Central European cuisine and live music. The name Szwejka comes from a Czech novel Good Soldier Švejk, and you find funny illustrations and Czech references all around the place. The food is good value for money, and the restaurant has a great location at the socialist parade square.
Why you should visit it
Every day there is a special promotion, and no doubt the most popular meal deal is the Monday giant schnitzel with fries and salad, along with giant glasses of beer. If you are not that hungry, you can always share your plate-sized schnitzel with a friend. For bigger groups advance booking is recommended.
