Why locals love it
Every last friday of the month "Karin" folk dance group organizes free traditional dance lessons. The event takes place either outdoors at Cascade Complex (warm months, May-Sept) or indoors at "Naregatsi" Art Institute (Oct-April) and is designed to promote traditional dances through open class lessons.
Why you should visit it
The atmosphere is amazing! It is one of the most Armenian events! People gather around dance to the traditional music and help and teach each other to dance. Spot someone and ask to guide you during the night. People are usually very welcoming and will help you out.
