Our lovely adventure begins in the city centre. Biking through the Lower Town and Upper Town, we’ll visit the National Theatre and the Parliament, discover Zagreb’s Green Horseshoe, and learn why there’s a “big bang” every day at noon, what’s so bloody about the Bloody Bridge, and who was stoned at the Stone Gate.
As we make our way into the entirely different scenery of New Zagreb, you’ll see how the city evolved over the centuries and how the lifestyle of its inhabitants changed over the decades.
We’ll make frequent stops during the tour, and can stop wherever and for however long you want.
You'll also get tips for the best shopping areas and restaurants, and what's most important in Zagreb, the best places for coffee, beer, and rakija (brandy).
