Most recommendable city tour if you´re a more active type of the person. The guides are great, full of cool information about the city and made our running tour pleasant and active at the same time. They know a lot about the city and are great young people that enjoy what they do. That way, your tour can only be superb! At the end of the tour we sat in the shade of a pub enjoying a cold beer and listening to some more interesting stories about Zagreb. Your running tour begins at the main city square. You’ll be able to change your clothes and leave your bag somewhere safe.
As you explore the Upper Town and pass its main attractions, your guide will tell you the story of two towns: Gradec and Kaptol. You’ll see the bustling Dolac Market and Tkalčićeva – the famous bar street, learn about the miracle of the Stone Gate, hear the legend of the Lotrščak Tower and admire the beautiful roof of St. Mark’s Church.
The tour continues in downtown Zagreb where you’ll run through the parks that form the Lenuci Horseshoe. Along the way you’ll pass many beautiful museums and historical buildings, including the Croatian National Theatre, the statue of the first Croatian king and the Botanical Garden.
You’ll get a great feel for the city in just 2 hours.
