Normal guy trying to enjoy life. I was living with a younger boyfriend/partner with whom I was happy and our family supported us, until in December 2016 he passed away of lymphoma. I am running my own eshop with flower bulbs, ornamental and fruit shrubs and trees, perenials, grasses as well as an unusual hostel in our greenhouse. In my free time I am working as a tourist guide presenting several tours. My other leisure activities are hiking, riding a bicycle, swimming, walking with dog or meeting and talking to foreign people. In 2013, I started an association called "Vypestuj Dobro" (= Grow Good), which tries to encourage people to share their surplus of garden produce with the families with children in need. I really enjoy working on it.

Description
Instead of sticking to conventional tourist routes, I prefer to blend in with Bratislava’s back alleys and uncover their hidden gems. If you also enjoy this way of exploring, I’ll be more than happy to show you around my hometown!
We’ll walk around the former headquarters of the Slovak Communist Party, get to know how a holy image over the main entrance of the school from 1901 survived the socialist era, pass a church without a tower, and visit the calmest place in Bratislava. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a glass of Budvar 10° beneath the chestnut trees in the city's oldest beer garden.
We'll then pass wooden Nazi-built houses on our way to the Slavín WWII memorial, where we’ll admire the beautiful view. There will be enough time to take photos.
From Slavín, we’ll walk downhill to the formerly popular meeting point in front of the Presidential Palace, where we’ll finish our tour.
Small group sizes (max. 12 participants) mean that you’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and learn about local life.
