Bucharest Free Walking Tour
Bucharest can either be a blessing or a curse. Discover the true face of the amazingly wild and captivating Romanian capital on a free walking tour with a friendly local guide.
I’m Stefan and what I like most is traveling. My mother says that I was born with a backpack, (hopefully) just a joke :).
But the more I see this world, the more I like Bucharest, my home town. It’s a complex and crazy city, that is for sure worthy to be discovered. Days after joining my first free tour (in Amsterdam), me and a couple of friends started our own free tour in Bucharest, that you are welcomed to join!

so we just missed it
Carmen is a lovely guide - she was engaging, personable, smiley and very clearly proud of her country, but also prepared to have a laugh at its expence. Carmen's knowledge throughout was excellent and she answered all of the questions asked of her. She also gave useful tips for exploring Bucharest further.
The walking tour was at a slow enough pace for even the elderly or disabled could have managed. Yet we saw many of the important sites.

Only criticism we had was we couldn't understand why there was a break of around 15 mins in the tour as we had only really just got going and everyone seemed to be standing around - waiting to continue. But this didn't take anything way from the actual tour.
Great that maps were provided too so you could follow where you were.
Recommend to anyone that will come to Bucharest.
But apart from that, very good.
Many thanks to you. We have taken part free walking tours in many cities and what is important for us is that we can know that tours are good
