Bittersweet Artisinal Cuisine1
Why locals love it
The cuisine at Bittersweet is not only beautiful, but also incredibly delicious. Each dish is prepared like a work of art and the flavors are inventive and fresh. The produce the restaurant uses is seasonal so the menu is always changing. Some of the herbs and vegetables used are even grown in the restaurant's own on site garden.
Why you should visit it
The food is memorable and the atmosphere cozy. This is the type of restaurant where you could easily spend a couple hours over an extended meal and some nice cocktails or wine. It's a modern take on bistro style cuisine and the dishes refreshingly shift with the seasons, but there's always a good mix of vegetarian, pescatarian, and meat options.
The 'deconstructed apple pie' and 'forest floor' desserts are eccentrically genius. There's also a $50 tasting menu with wine every third Thursday.
