There was once a time when hump day was nothing to look forward to. Thanks to the Denver Cruiser Ride, the Wednesday blues have rolled on by! Nearly every Wednesday evening in spring, summer and fall hundreds of Denverites get together, most in costume, to ride bikes across the city and stop along the way for a few tasty beverages.
Why you should visit it
Some participants ride custom-built circus bikes, some tow trailers fitted up with speakers, many don outrageous costumes and most all of them wear huge smiles. The Cruiser Ride is simple racous fun, as well as an ideal opportunity to get a bit of fresh air and exercise while seeing the town and meeting all the freaky locals.
