This place is classic- no gimmicks, no decor, simply amazing, wholesome, homestyle cooking at very reasonable prices. The menudo, chile relleno burrito, green chile sauce, smothered enchiladas, huevos rancheros and of course the tacos are all outstanding, and generally served up with bountiful sides of refried beans and spiced rice.

If you speak any Spanish try to talk your way into a bowl of the sublime but jealously guarded jalapeño salsa.
