Why locals love it
With 'renegade' attitude, this brewery prides itself on making beers that are, in their own words, 'offensively delicious'. Luckily most locals aren't offended, but do agree with the 'delicious' descriptor. However, some of the suds here are indeed potent: think triple IPAs, Russian imperial stouts, coffee infused strong ales and Belgian quads.
Why you should visit it
Despite quick growth, Renegade has managed to retain much of its crafty charm. The taproom has interesting design elements, and board games are available. The location is also well integrated with the creative Santa Fe neighborhood, and only a short walk from a number of galleries. Food trucks are present Tuesday through Saturday.
