Gracing the front of many post cards, Brama Florianska is the entrance to the Florianska Street and the heart of the Old Town. As the main entrance into Krakow in the past, most royal processions and coronations entered the city here, through the Main Square and onto Wawel.
A small remnant of the defensive walls that once surrounded the city, Brama Florianska was the most famous entrance into the city. Today you can find artists and musicians performing and selling their work which hangs on the walls.
Check out the museum of city defenses which is located within the wall near the gate.
