Why locals love it
Milkbars - places serving traditional food for very low prices - were popular in Poland during communism. This bar remembers those times and continues the tradition of feeding students and people working nearby. Its coarse decor, traditional, tasty menu and extremely low prices attract many people everyday.
Why you should visit it
To experience the atmosphere of passed times without spending a lot of money, you should drop by for a quick meal (drinking 'kompot' is mandatory!). Since it's a place dedicated mostly for locals - you might use someone's help with translation.
Special tip
This is one of the best places to try traditional Polish meals. Try especially: pierogi ruskie, placki ziemniaczane, kotlet schabowy, gołąbki, bigos.
