Your guide will meet you at our office, which is located at Plac Szczepański 8.
You’ll walk through Planty Park to the Main Square, where you’ll listen legends about St Mary's Basilica. You’ll also see the Cloth Hall, the Church of St Adalbert, and the Town Hall Tower.
Next, you’ll visit the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University – Collegium Maius – and hear stories about World War II.
After touring the Old Town, you’ll get to try a traditional Polish pretzel during a short break.
You’ll then continue into Kazimierz, Krakow’s Jewish quarter, which is one of the most attractive parts of the city. Today it is the district where history meets modern. If you like the atmosphere of unique pubs and alternatives shops try to visit them after our tour.
Next you’ll pass synagogues and cemetery before continuing on to Wolnica Square, the former market square of Kazimierz, to see the one-of-a-kind Corpus Christi Basilica – a Gothic temple with a baroque interior.
Finally, you’ll walk back to the Old Town. The tour ends beneath the Wawel Royal Castle – the former residence of Polish kings.
