Why locals love it

Built in 1892 and designed by the architect António José Dias da Silva; is a precinct for bullfights, concerts, fairs and markets, among other things. Some years ago, it was created a shopping arcade in the basement and commercial spaces on the ground floor with garden terrace. The Square is now a more versatile space with a removable cover.

Why you should visit it

The bullring, circular in shape, was built in solid brick and provided with windows of horseshoe arches and battlements, has four turrets at the four cardinal points.

Special tip

Every Saturday there are two fairs: one has biological Portuguese products and the other fair has Portuguese crafts, genuine and author.
