Our host Rita was knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. Her insight of local customs, shops, and cuisine helped my family feel more at home during our stay in the charming Campo de Ourique neighborhood of Lisbon. Her co-host Carol has a talent for both baking and instruction, and I am grateful to have learned some specific techniques for making traditional Portuguese pastry. My daughter especially enjoyed helping and my husband especially enjoyed eating!
