Take in the colourful streets of Lisbon, an open-air gallery for today's most innovative urban artists. Study works, from graffiti to sophisticated murals, as you get a feel for the locals, or alfacinhas (little lettuces) as they’re lovingly called.
After meeting your art guru at our office, you’ll set out on a tour of the city’s frequently changing offerings. See whimsical murals of animals, for example a horse that covers an entire side of a building, as well as political and social statements, such as Über’s ‘Boy Crying’, which contrasts with the affluent area surrounding it.
View small masterpieces concealed in the hidden alleys and narrow streets of the Old Town, and large-scale modern installations in wide, open areas, many of which have been made possible due to the local government's huge focus on urban renewal. Enjoy seeing works in progress, as well as some that have been there for decades.
Lisbon is renowned for its thriving street art scene – we're looking forward to introducing you to it!
