Myself and my husband travelled from Munich to Prague and we had a fantastic trip with Pavlina. The bus is very comfortable and we had a few stops on the way for sightseeing and lunch. Pavlina was very knowledgeable about the places where we stopped off and was able to answer our queries on the history of the country. I would highly recommend using them for your travels. Pavlina even sent me an email with places to visit in Prague and hints/tips while we were there which was extremely helpful. I would not hesitate in booking with them again.

Description

Join our entertaining and easy-going tour from Munich to Prague. This 10-hour road trip – led by a knowledgeable local guide – is your chance to learn about the history, culture, and most importantly the people of both the Czech Republic and Germany.

We start the day by hearing the fascinating stories behind the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Regensburg and taking a peek inside its famous St Peter’s Cathedral before heading off towards the Czech Republic.

We'll arrive to Pilsen by lunchtime. Pilsen holds the oldest surviving brewery and is world famous for its original Pilsner beer. You'll have the chance to sit down for a delicious meal (not included) and enjoy a cold pint of fresh Pilsner.

In the afternoon we take a stroll through the cute little town of Karlstejn, where you'll be able to see one of the best examples of Gothic castles – the Karlstejn Castle. This is the former palace of the most famous King of Bohemia and the Holy Roman Emperor, King Charles IV.

Great Casual and Relaxed Trip
My husband and I took this trip from Vienna to Prague in September with Jacob. Our host was excellent, local, and knowledgable! He brought us to great locations and was a thoughtful tour guide. The tour was much smaller then I expected; there were only 6 of us and we shared a large comfy van together. Look carefully, the stops from Prague to Vienna are not the same as Vienna to Prague. I didn't realize this when I looked. As such as the stops were a surprise to me. They were all beautiful and relaxing. This trip is not overly exciting, but it was nice to share travel stories, eat some good and cheap food, and see the countryside. We liked it as a down day from our otherwise busy trip. We liked it as an alternative travel day to train travel.
A perfect road trip to Prague
We had an amazing 10-hour one-way driving tour from Berlin to Prague. We stopped in places most international tourists don’t find. We learned so much from our wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and funny tour guide, Sarka. She kept us entertained the entire time while safely getting us there in a comfortable van/minibus. And she gave us so much information, we were more than ready to explore Prague on our own.I would highly recommend this tour! We're looking now at the other Side Trip Tours to figure out which ones we can do.
Excellent!! Great way to sightsee and travel between countries.
Clean, safe, reliable transportation and tour guide to transfer from Prague to Vienna - date of travel 10/16/19
Perfect way to see more of this area of the world rather than by air or rail travel.
Highly recommend this company and would be happy to have opportunity to use them again on future trips.
