The local retreat for
sunny days
Klambratún2
Why locals love it
A basic little park which is occupied by young hipsters and sun-loving crowd during the sunny days. Kids come here to play frisbee-golf, volleyball, soccer and the viking game "Kubb", which can be described as a mixture of bowlings and horseshoes.
Why you should visit it
It's an interesting place to see the locals basking in the sun and to participate in some local fun. The park isn't the most beautiful one, but has seen some major improvement these last years.
Special tip
It was once called "Miklatún", meaning the great field, but recently changed. Current name derives from the farm Klambrar which was positioned there.
