In 2001 archaeological remains were excavated in Aðalstræti, which turned out to be the oldest relics of human habitation in Reykjavík. The multimedia section of the exhibition is entertaining, yet the main attraction is the archaeological remains itself.
In this exhibition you'll get some insights into the environment of the Reykjavík farm at the time of the first settlers.
No entrance fee for children 18 and younger, as well as seniors 70 and older.
