Description
We begin the tour at 6pm at Piazza della Minerva, next to the Pantheon – where Galileo Galilei was trialled and held liable for blasphemy.
We then head towards Largo Argentina, where you’ll learn about the exact location of Julius Cesar's assassination – one of Rome's most famous crime scenes.
In the Jewish Ghetto, you’ll hear about the many atrocities that occurred during the Nazi occupation in WWII. We’ll then walk to Campo de Fiori, a popular spot for tourists, which was the site of many public executions.
You’ll be captivated by the stories your guide will share with you about these dark chapters in Rome’s history!
The tour includes a coffee break at one of the best cafes in Rome, giving you a chance to rest your feet and use the bathroom. We end the tour next to a taxi stand where your guide will gladly help you with any other questions or recommendations.
