We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Trip was well organized. We were picked up by a van from our hotel lobby. Tour coordinator was waiting at Termini for us. She gave train tickets to Venice and back , gondola tickets and gave very good instructions and maps for self guided tour of Venice. She also assisted in boarding train in Termini. There was about 7 hours time in Venice which gave ample time to see st Mark's basilica, the square, Rialto bridge and also take the gondola ride with some spare time for shopping. I highly recommend this tour if you only have 1 day to see Venice.

Meet your assistant at the railway station, where you will receive the train tickets and all the necessary information to spend a unique day.
You will reach Venice in approximately 3,5 hours.
Spend the morning at your leasure and visit the most important attractions of the city, such as St. Mark’s Aquare and Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, Rialto bridge and many more.
In the afternoon you will board a traditional gondola for a 30-minute ride along the canals of Venice.
Enjoy the cruise through the city’s most secluded waterways, passing under small bridges and a long part of the Grand Canal. During this brief cruise, you will admire Desdemona’s House and Mozart’s House passing by the world-famous La Fenice Theatre, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
When you reach the Salute Church and Punta della Dogana, you will have a breathtaking view of S. Giorgio’s Island, Saint Mark with its bell tower and the Doge’s Palace.
The high speed train will take you back to Rome around 10.10 pm.
