Why locals love it
ArtGene is the annual summer festival of Georgian culture, handcrafts, music and dance held open air in the beautiful Ethnographic museum. There are artists and craftsmen exhibiting their products and giving masterclasses and there is are concerts and shows throughout the day on the main stage.

Why you should visit it
If you happen to be in Tbilisi by the time the festival takes place, which is usually in July, you should definitely visit it - the atmosphere is fantastic and you get to see mostly Georgians celebrating their culture and art.
