Dry Bridge Market

Why locals love it

This open air market is casual but well established, well organized, and chock full of interesting surprises. In a sad manifestation of the state of the economy for pensioners, many older people come here to sell their belongings to make extra money.

Why you should visit it

Today, many of the people there re-sell antiques rather than their own possessions, but it is still always interesting to strike up a conversation with a seller. You can often find old fur hats and stoles, plenty of jewelry, Soviet pins and medals, and endless rows of books. Don't miss the real estate section - photos strung up on clothes lines!

Special tip

Don't forget to haggle a bit!
