Georgians respect their history, and Mtatsminda Pantheon of Writers and Public Figures is one of the places, where you can learn more about it. It's also a place where one of first Christian priests in Georgia has founded a church, so this area has serious religious, historical and cultural meaning for the locals.

Even if you are not into history very much, it's a very beautiful and peaceful place: at least, another point to admire Tbilisi from above. You can go up with funicular (costs 2 lari), and go down on foot. Taking taxi is also possible. There is also a stairway from Mtatsminda park.
Funicular stops at the middle station approximately till 18.00 - 19.00 from September till June, and till 22.30 in summer.
