Dmanisi – Motherland of Europeans & steps of Germans in Katharinenfeld

We are going to visit an unexplored south-east of my great country. During our trip you will be able to explore the ancient settlement of the old city Dmanisi, have the beautiful view of Mashavera river and canyon, visit the old Dmanisi church. Hear the story of ancient tunnel, wine and baths found here. Visit the archeological museum, see what the old city was like and hear the beautiful story of Mzia and Zezva, who are 1,770,000 years old.

We will climb to Qveshi Fortness, from where the fascinating view of Bolnisi region opens. We will explore Katharinenfeld, built by Germans and you will be able to hear the story of German people in Georgia. Then we drive to Bolnisi Sioni-the church of 5th century and read the first Georgian inscription, made on the wall of this church. Afterwards we drive to Tsughrughasheni Church, built during the golden age of our country, located in the most peaceful place in the world. During my excursion I will tell the history of my country and places we are going to visit - about Georgian traditions, Georgian culture, and about peaceful life of people of different nationalities, settled in this region.
