Description

Seen Warsaw’s top attraction and looking for something else? Bored with touristy places and want to do something more thrilling? Join our bus tour to the dark side of Warsaw – the infamous Praga district.

Every Saturday morning there’s a retro Jelcz bus called Cucumber waiting to take you to Praga for a 2.5-hour tour. To make sure you come back in one piece there’ll be a guide to help you navigate the district.

Our first stop will be a chocolate lounge next to the chocolate factory. Here, get to know the story of the company producing sweets in Warsaw since the mid-19th century and taste a cup of their delicious hot chocolate. The next stop will be Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which is one of the most impressive religious buildings in Warsaw. It’s architecture was inspired by the Roman basilica of St. Paul.

Then take a look at a former vodka factory, Koneser, and find out what delicacies where made there and what is in this complex now.

After that go to the New Praga district to see where Roman Polański filmed “The Pianist”. From here, you will head back to the Palace of Culture and Science.

Tour in a retro Fiat 126p
Such a great way to see the city and all surroundings!
Very intresting history about communism and how it effected Warsaw /from Erik & Cornelia
Great time exploring Warsaw and drinking vodka
We had a wonderful time with Paweł exploring Warsaw and getting around in the Fiat. This was the ideal way to explore the city as soon as we got there, to get our bearings and to get out and see a lot in a fairly short period of time. Pawel knew a ton about the city and we enjoyed just spending the time driving around together, learning some history and drinking vodka throughout.
Very fun, very interesting
A great way to explore the city. Would like to thank our tour guide Marcin, who was very informative and interesting and also made us both feel comfortable driving the car. The car is very easy and fun to drive. The tour teaches you about polish history and shows you historic monuments all over the city. Would definitely recommend, me and my girlfriend had lots of fun.
