Why locals love it

The bar-bistro named after Rimbauds famous poem "Drunken Ship" is equally popular with locals and fearless tourists. The staff may seem a bit rude sometimes, especially with no-locals and laptop-users. But as this helps to keep the place unspoiled, it fits perfectly into local lifestyle - along with the breakfast hours that last until 4 pm.

Why you should visit it

If you are in search of bohemian moods and a place to take your breakfast outside in the sun at popular Heinrichplatz (right in front of the famous SO36 club), go no further than here. No sun in sight? Help yourself to one of the wooden, slightly-too-high tables inside and marvel at the collection of paper lamps hanging from the ceiling.

Special tip

Bâteau Ivre is one of the best places to order wine in Oranienstraße. You are encouraged to do so as beer is pricier than in other locations around.
