Why locals love it

Located at a busy traffic roundabout in the middle of the start-up and hip entrepreneurial district, the Prinzessinengarten is an oasis for those having stared at a computer screen for too long - as well as everybody else.

Why you should visit it

The Prinzessinengarten is one of the largest and most successful urban gardening projects in Germany and you can learn a lot about urban gardening and reclaiming public space for social/ecological causes here. Also, there is wonderful cafe that serves lunch (made from the garden's harvest) and excellent cake.

Special tip

You can purchase seedlings - now wouldn't that be an exquisite souvenir for someone you love?

I would really like to see Prinzessinegarten. Will it be open the end by 02-21 ? The site says it will be closed until spring 2019, but when spring starts is a bit vague. Even in Sweden the garden store open March 1, Thanks for the help.
