See the Northern part of Armenia, a place where Soviet mining factories meet medieval monasteries, a place surrounded by rocky mountains, where time seems to stand still.
Our route leads through the historical Lori province, an important historical region for both – Georgia and Armenia. You will visit the two UNESCO protected monastery complexes of Sanahin and Haghpat, discover the origins of the bright blue color in ancient frescoes in Akhtala, see abandoned cable cars and typical Soviet industrial towns and enjoy a traditional Armenian meal in a cozy restaurant by a river.
Please note that group tours require a minimum of three participants. If the minimum number is not met, you will be offered an alternative date or cancellation.
